One thing that the DCEU has made clear is that it is producing quality(ish) movies all from the same universe. If something happens in one place, it is going to have an affect on another, just like a real world situation. This is something that we commend the writing team on as you know, just like our After The Credits Roll series we like a bit of realism and explanation to our favourite movie endings.
With that in mind we would like to introduce you to a new series of posts all about those poor people who, just like the residents of Midsomer, were duped into buying a property in a lovely neighbourhood next door to a serial killer or mad man. Yes we are talking about the unfortunate residents of Gotham City.
We will be taking a look into the life of the people of Gotham. “Extra, extra read all about it!” First up we will be taking a look at a page from today’s copy of The Gotham Gazette, the Gotham City Classifieds. Working at the Gotham Gazette won’t come without it’s challenges, from the constant shootings at public red carpet events to the jobs, deaths and listing requests that will be streaming in everyday. No job is the easy job at Gotham’s favourite newspaper.
We are happy to help to get the word out for the Gotham City Gothites... Gothums... Gotherinas? What ever we're supposed to call them, one thing that we can call them nine times out of ten is screwed. Chances are that this edition of The Gotham Gazette has been used as kindling to keep people warm instead of being used as an enjoyable read during a builder's elevenses.
