New character posters for The Hateful Eight released!
After a few years in development, and an infamous script leak that nearly shut down the project entirely, the first character posters have been released for The Hateful Eight, the latest offering from Quentin Tarantino.
Set in a blizzard ridden Wyoming after the American Civil War, eight bounty hunters are looking for refuge during the storm before becoming embroiled in a plot of betrayal and deception.
It’s apparently heavily influenced by the old school Spaghetti Westerns and US western TV dramas like Bonanza, The Virginian and The High Chaparral and has none other than Ennio Morricone composing the score.

In early 2014 the whole production nearly hit the skids after a script of the film was leaked, leading to Tarantino filing a lawsuit (which was eventually dropped) against Gawker for publishing it online.
The Hateful Eight is Tarantino’s first film since 2012’s epic Django Unchained and features some of his regular collaborators in the main cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen as Joe Gage who has the brilliant nickname “The Cow Puncher”.
So here they are then in all their Western-y glory…
The Hateful Eight will be released on 70mm film format on Christmas Day in selected cinemas, and on general digital release from January 6th 2016.
